Jailed Russian oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky has been put in solitary confinement for 12 days after giving an interview to the Esquire men's magazine.
That's according to a statement issued by his lawyers. Khodorkovsky, who was jailed in 2005 for fraud and tax evasion, appears in Esquire's October edition in an interview via letters he sent from jail to a writer. In the interview, the prominent Kremlin critic who was once Russia's richest man talks about his fall from grace and the trial which resulted in an eight-year jail term.
