Thai and Cambodian troops have exchanged fire on a contested part of their border.
Officials from the two countries said at least two Thai soldiers and one Cambodian were injured in the brief clash. Both sides accused the other of trespassing and firing first. It is the first clash since the two countries agreed in August to withdraw most of their respective military units from the area around the contested Preah Vihear Hindu temple ruins.
