Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has met with his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez in the southern Russian city of Orenburg. Russian officials said the two leaders would sign a number of military and economic agreements without providing any further details.
This comes a day after Chavez met outside Moscow with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who offered Russian help in developing nuclear power in Venezuela. Putin also expressed Russia's willingness to cooperate with Venezuela in military and technical matters. The Iraq PM questions US troop deal ...
