German police commandos have stormed a KLM aircraft and arrested two terrorist suspects.
The two men were on a plane bound for Amsterdam at the airport of the western German city of Cologne. They were removed from the aircraft just before take-off on Friday morning. A police spokesman said the men had been under of observation for some time and were suspected of wanting to take part in Islamist attacks. He also said farewell letters had been found. One of the men was a Somali and the other was a German born in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
