Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni has called for new sanctions against Iran.
Speaking on CNN television, Livni said Tehran viewed any hesitation by the international community as weakness. She said that time was of the essence in challenging Iran's nuclear drive. Her remarks come after Tehran let pass a US deadline this weekend to respond to an international package of incentives to freeze its uranium enrichment operations. She also refused to rule out taking military action.
