Werder win leaves Bayern on brink of title ... start of the strike by ground personnel on Monday had caused few disruptions in the busy holiday season, due to precautionary measures taken by Lufthansa. A spokesman said most of the cities affected had more than one connection per day, allowing customers to be rebooked. Trade union Ver.di said the strike would later spread to Berlin's two airports, Tegel and Schönefeld, as well as Stuttgart and Nuremberg in the south.
