Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has visited the site of a deadly bombing in Istanbul, and appealed for national unity.
Late on Sunday two consecutive blasts struck a residential area of the city, killing 17 people and injuring over 150 others. Turkish authorities suspect Kurdish militants were behind the attack, but a spokesperson for the rebel Kurdistan Workers Party, or PKK, denied the group's involvement.
