A series of suicide bomb attacks in Iraq has killed around 60 people.
In Baghdad, three bombings in quick succession killed at least 28 people and wounded more than 80. According to police all three explosions were caused by female suicide bombers who co-ordinated their attacks. The women targeted Shi'ite pilgrims who are flooding into the Iraqi capital for a major religious event. Amnesty International slams rich countries on Iraq ... 100 were wounded when a suicide bomber detonated an explosives belt amid people protesting against a draft provincial elections law that is being debated in parliament. It is thought this attack was also carried out by a female suicide bomber.
