Afghan suicide blast kills 15 civilians ... a clash in the country's east.
The governor of Khost province, Arsallah Jamal, said air strikes killed around 50 militants after they stormed a police outpost, and executed its occupants, near the border with Pakistan. The NATO-led International Security Assistance Force confirmed there had been an action in the area but said it was too early to release details.
