The ambassador to Prague, Vladimir Veres, was one of the recalled ambassadors because the Czech Republic joined the EU and other countries that recognised Kosovo. "We consider the Serbian government's decision to be correct also because we are interested in bilateral relations with Serbia to be as good as possible.
This requires the presence of the ambassador," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Opletalova told. Veres left the Czech Republic on May 25. The diplomats will probably return to the EU countries next week. Kosovo unilaterally declared independence of Serbia in February.
