German Chancellor Angela Merkel has held talks with visiting Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in Berlin, focusing mainly on strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
Earlier, upon his arrival in the German capital, the Iraqi premier was welcomed by Merkel with full military honours.
