Spain's Oscar Freire, riding for Rabobank, has won the 14th stage of the Tour de France.
Colombian Leonardo Duque of the Cofidis team came in second and German veteran Erik Zabel came home third for Milram. Australian Cadel Evans has retained the leader's yellow jersey. Meanwhile, the South African industrial conglomerate Barloworld says it will withdraw its cycling sponsorship after one of its riders was expelled from the race for doping. Barloworld rider Moises Duenas Nevado of Spain tested positive for the blood-booster EPO earlier this week.
