Norway's Kurt-Asle Arvesen of the CSC team has won the 11th stage of the Tour de France.
Swiss Martin Elmiger of the AG2r-La Mondiale team was second, with Italian Alessandro Ballan third for the Lampre team. Australia's Cadel Evans of the Silence Lotto team has retained the overall leader's yellow jersey. Earlier, the Tour had its second doping case, with Spain's Moises Duenas Nevado of the Barloworld team being kicked out of the race after testing positive for the blood-boosting drug EPO.
