According to the report, certain policemen spoke with journalists about Cunek's corruption case more frequently than they had previously testified, Cunek said. These officers will continue to be investigated, he said. The Inspection's spokeswoman told CTK that she would not provide any information, nor would the state attorney's office supervise the case. Czech KDU-CSL head to release decision on halting his prosecution ... was accused of corruption but after a few months the prosecution was halted under unusual circumstances and much of his property remained unclear. Cunek stepped down over the accusations as deputy prime minister and local development minister last November but rejoined the cabinet this April. Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg (for the Greens) was rather mistrustful of Cunek and had an audit of Cunek's property carried out by a foreign audit company. He conditioned his own remaining in the cabinet on the audit outcome. Schwarzenberg reportedly received the audit's result earlier this week and is studying it. Speculations have appeared that the result is not favourable for Cunek, but no one has officially confirmed it for now. Cunek today said he does not know the audit result.
