08.07.2008 - Czech PM signs agreement on Czech accession to ESA
The Czech Republic is the first post-communist country to enter the ESA.
The agreement still requires consent from Czech parliament.
The Czech Republic is expected to become the ESA's full-fledged member as of January 2009, after the parliament approves the agreement.
