Israel and Hezbollah have signed a UN-mediated prisoner exchange deal as agreed on by both sides last month.
The date for the swap is to be settled this week. A statement from the Israeli government says the deal was signed in front of a UN representative. Under the deal Israel will hand over multiple killer Samir Kuntar, as well as four Hezbollah prisoners and dozens of bodies of militants. Remains 'were from five Israelis' ...
Syria says it has received Israeli peace offer ... On Monday, the Israeli military began exhuming the bodies of some 190 Hezbollah fighters. In return, Israel is to receive two soldiers captured by Hezbollah in a 2006 cross-border raid. Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser are believed to be dead.
