The union said employers had not made any concrete offers in the ongoing round of negotiations, which has dragged on for months. The walkout will affect passengers at a number of airports, including at Lufthansa's main hubs at Frankfurt and Munich. Warning strikes by the union disrupted German air traffic in May and June as part of the ongoing wage dispute.
