The leader of Zimbabwe's main opposition party, the Movement for Democratic Change, has postponed plans to return to the country due to an alleged plot to kill him.
A party spokesman told reporters in Johannesburg that the MDC had received information from a credible source indicating that an attempt would be made on Morgan Tsvangirai's life shortly after he arrived in Zimbabwe. He said Tsvangirai had now put off plans to return indefinitely.
