Germany's domestic intelligence service says Islamist terrorists pose the greatest threat to Germany and view it increasingly as a potential target, partly because of Germany's NATO troop deployment in northern Afghanistan.
Presenting the agency's annual report, Interior Minister Wolfgang Schäuble said Germany had been lucky to escape attacks so far due to preventative steps taken by security services.
