The death toll from China's devastating earthquake could reach more than 50,000.
That's according to the Xinhua news agency which was quoting rescue headquarters in Beijing. Already nearly 20,000 people are confirmed dead as a result of the quake in Sichuan province. Rescue workers to find tens of thousands buried in rubble are only beginning to reach those areas hardest hit. The military is using airdrops to get much needed aid supplies to victims.
