All the three companies that submitted their bids withing the public tender have met the conditions for participation, the spokesman, David Kubalak, said. He said the tender commission will start assessing the bids on May 15 and the winner could be known in late May or early June. The contract with the winner could be signed in mid-July, Kubalak said. The tender started on March 28, companies could submit their bids until April 25. The Czech police want to buy 2,800 to 3,500 new service cars worth 1.4 billion crowns in 2008-2011.
