The anti-trust office (UOHS) enquired into the tender in 2005 but uncovered no mistakes. However, the UOHS's decision was later abolished by the Regional Court in Brno which said the tender had been irregular.
The NSS upheld the verdict today. The Defence Ministry's tenders rank among the most controversial. In the past year, the ministry was fined several times, more than a half million crowns altogether. Czech antitrust office deals with National Library contest again ... exempted from the law on placing public orders.
