US envoy calls on N Korea to act ... to Pyongyang. The US plans to scrutinize the technical logs from the Yongbyon reactor to see if the North is telling the truth about a bomb programme that it has agreed to trade away for economic and political rewards. Pyongyang says it is disabling the plutonium-producing reactor and other plants under a deal reached last year with the US, China, Japan, Russia and South Korea.
