An Austrian court has ordered a man charged with imprisoning his daughter and fathering seven children with her to be held in custody for another month.
His lawyer did not appeal the ruling. The 73-year-old Joseph Fritzl was questioned for the first time by prosecutors on Wednesday. He has admitted to holding his daughter Elisabeth captive for 24 years in a bunker under the family home. Three of their six surviving children were raised in the bunker and the other three by Joseph Fritzl and his wife.
