Berlusconi launches comeback bid ... Italy's conservative leader Silvio Berlusconi and his 21-member government have been sworn into office in a ceremony in Rome.
This will be the 71 year-old's third stint in power. The new government which Berlusconi had already finalised on Wednesday includes Franco Frattini, who is leaving his post as European Union justice commissioner to become Italy's foreign minister. Giulio Tremonti, who served in Berlusconi's last government from 2001 to 2006 is returning as economy minister.
