"I'm visiting you on May 8, the day we're celebrating the Victory in the fight for freedom in one of the worst ever wars. You, in Afghanistan, also fight for freedom, not only for this country's sake but also for our homeland and for all of us," Bartosova quoted Topolanek as saying. He thanked the soldiers for their efforts, heroism and courage as members of the foreign mission. "There is no more difficult thing for a prime minister to decide on than sending his men and women to a war. I'd never sign such a decision if I were not sure that it has a sense," Topolanek said. He promised that the soldiers will receive all support and equipment they need.
