Olympic torch relay begins in Kuala Lumpur ... and high winds had delayed China's attempt to carry a special Olympic torch to the top of Everest, which is located partly in Nepal and partly in troubled Tibet. China's Olympic torch relay has been overshadowed by protests, notably in western countries, over China's human rights record and crackdown in Tibet.
