Former Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif says the ruling coalition will reinstate all judges sacked by President Pervez Musharraf last year.
He added the coalition government would introduce a parliamentary resolution on May 12 to restore the judges. The announcement comes as Pakistani coalition partners returned from two days of talks held in Dubai. Restoring the judges has been a top priority of the two main parties in the government, who won February elections on an anti-Musharraf platform and restored civilian rule to Pakistan.
