Police in Colombia have killed one of the country's most powerful drug traffickers.
Media reports say the dead man has been identified as Victor Manuel Mejia Munera although officials earlier said it was his brother, Miguel Angel. Defence Minister Juan Manuel Santos said in Bogota that police gunned down the man in north-central Colombia.
