Ex-mayor shot in Philippine court ... the city-state of Hamburg voted to approve a proposed coalition agreement with the conservative Christian Democratic Union. The CDU is expected to approve the agreement in a meeting on Monday. This would pave the way for current CDU Mayor Ole von Beust to be re-elected by Hamburg's assembly in a meeting to be held early next month.
