Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is in Damascus for talks with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
It is widely expected they will discuss a potential resumption of peace talks between Israel and Syria. Erdogan has been acting as mediator between the two countries.
