Zimbabwe bans Western observers ... out of a Security Council discussion after Libya's UN ambassador compared the situation in Gaza to Nazi concentration camps in World War II. Diplomats from Belgium, Britain, Costa Rica, France and the US left the room in protest when Libyan deputy permanent UN representative Ibrahim Dabbashi made the remark.
The remark came during a discussion on a draft statement proposed by Libya and other countries that would have expressed serious concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
