Bayern Munich has won the German Cup final against Borussia Dortmund 2:1.
Both Bayern goals were scored by Italian World Cup winner Luca Toni. The match went into extra time after Croatian international Mladen Petric snatched a dramatic injury time equaliser for Dortmund. But Toni sealed the win in the 103rd minute with the 35th goal of his debut season in Germany. The victory gives Bayern a record 14th win in the Cup final competition. The Bavarians now appear on track for a domestic double. They have a 10-point lead in the Bundesliga with five matches left to play.
