Fourth seed Ana Ivanovic overcome a tough examination by 17-year-old Dane Caroline Wozniacki to reach the quarter-finals of the Australian Open.
Wozniacki, a former Wimbledon junior champion, put up a strong fight and served to level at one set all.
Ivanovic saved three break points in the first set and a set point in the second before winning 6-1 7-6 (7-2).
The 20-year-old Serb will next face the winner of the later match between Venus Williams and Marta Domachowska.
